Common questions

I lost the link to my friend’s page.

If you opened it before on this device, it’s listed on the home page under “Pick up where you left off.” Otherwise ask your friend to resend it; we can’t look up events by name because they’re private by design.

The sign-in code never arrived.

Check spam for a message from Supabase. Codes expire after an hour; request a new one from the sign-in screen. If it still doesn’t show up, email us.

My recording won’t start.

The page needs microphone permission and a secure connection. On iPhone, Safari works best. If recording isn’t available you can record a voice memo in another app and upload the file instead.

Autoplay stops when I lock my phone.

Background audio works in the installed app, not in Expo Go. Make sure Low Power Mode isn’t cutting it off, and that the app has finished “Getting your fuel ready” before you lock the screen.

I want to remove a message or delete my event or account.

Runners: event settings has a delete button, and the events screen has account deletion. Supporters: ask the runner, or email us with the event link. See the privacy page for what gets removed.
